Changing of the Guard

At the end of this week we are farewelling an integral part of the Swettenham family. Our Office Manager, Michael Bolton is heading off to a well-earned retirement.
He has been part of the Senior Management team at Swettenham for a number of years. His involvement with the Thoroughbred industry spans even longer. He raced horses such as Fields of Omagh and Barely A Moment. This and a back ground of Banking and Finance made him ideal for such a role on the Stud.
Taking his place in the role of Office Manager is Dot Smith who comes to us from Avenel Vets. Dot lives locally and had always admired Swettenham Stud so jumped at the opportunity to join the Swettenham Family. With a strong skill set she will be a welcome addition to the team.
We are sure that you all join us in wishing the very best to Michael (fondly known to us as Bolts) in his future endeavours and welcome Dot to Swettenham Stud!
