As a ‘hands on’ Leader, you will demonstrate a track record in having successfully generating sales and exceeding targets within the thoroughbred breeding and racing industry. As a creative marketer, you will demonstrate a successful working knowledge of digital marketing, project management, media planning/purchasing and content production and distribution.

This role will work alongside and report directly to the business owner.
Key attributes to be successful in the role:
An energetic leader with strong inter-personable skills and a proven ability to exceed sales targets.
Extensive experience in sales, brand marketing, media planning/purchasing, content production/distribution, event management and general management in a sports and entertainment industry business.
A demonstrated ability to utilise CRM systems (experience with Ardex preferred but not essential).
Knowledge and understanding of SaaS applications.
Working knowledge of websites.
Experience working in both family and corporate business environments preferred.
Self motivated proactive team player with experience working in a small team.
Exceptional communication, presentation and selling skills (written and verbal).
Passion for thoroughbred breeding and racing.
Proven strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
Tech Savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
This position will be based in Swettenham Stud’s Flemington Office (within the Racing Victoria building) and will require domestic travel throughout the year.
