Master is Ready for Premier
Tara Madgwick - Wednesday, 18 February 2015
There is no better sire of sires in Australia today than Redoute's Choice and the 2015 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale starting on March 1 will showcase the very best offspring from the first crop of one of his most brilliant Group I winning sons.
Swettenham Stud are proud to launch the first yearlings by Master of Design, a $2.1 million Inglis Easter yearling, who claimed Group I success on the racetrack winning the ATC TJ Smith Stakes at weight-for-age over 1200 metres. A stunning blue-blooded individual from the esteemed Princess Tracy (IRE) family that has delivered a cavalcade of stars headed by Australian Horse of the Year Typhoon Tracy, Master of Design is physically a great mix of his sire Redoute's Choice and dam sire Last Tycoon (IRE), who was Champion Australian Sire for 1993/1994. The power of the Danehill muscle bulk, tempered with the refinement of Last Tycoon, has made Master of Design an eye-catching individual as are many of his stock. Given the overwhelming success of ill-fated Redoute's Choice son Beneteau, who now leads the Australian First Season Sires List and stood at a modest fee of $11,000, astute yearling buyers heading to Melbourne for Premier will no doubt be taking Master of Design very seriously.
