Very Important News For 2008 Clients |

The Swettenham Stud Capital Investment Protection Scheme has been very well received and most clients have realised the huge advantages that it gives them in a fluctuating market.
If you paid a service fee to a particular Swettenham Stallion in the 2008 season then YOU are ELIGIBLE. You are now looking at the following fees in 2009 under the above scheme (regardless of which mare you send). WE WILL EVEN ACCOMODATE YOU IF YOU WISH TO CHOOSE ANOTHER STALLION FROM THE ROSTER. So get your teeth into these:
- · Bianconi $5,200 plus GST ($5,720 with LFG); currently 16th leading stallion in Australia for individual winners; the older statesman on the roster, but at only 14 years of age he still has plenty to offer; sire of recent Group 1 winner NICCONI.
- · Court of Jewels $2,100 plus GST ($2,310 with LFG); producing some nice gallopers; three-quarter brother to Commands and Danewin; good winner to runner ratio, plus a filly who ran 5th recently in the WATC Oaks.
- · Dash For Cash $10,500 plus GST ($11,550 with LFG); currently 21 st leading stallion in Australia by individual winners, with oldest only 4YO; Victorian Champion first season sire; sire of BANK ROBBER two Group 1 seconds and a fourth from limited starts.
- · Hold That Tiger $6,000 plus GST ($6,600 with LFG); two seconds, in a Grp 2 and Listed race in last three days brings to 16 his total stakes horses; sire of the winners of over A$6.8m; oldest just 4 in Nthn Hemisphere and 3 in Australia; normally produces the best foal a breeder has had so many never get to the sales.
- · Host $9,750 plus GST ($10,725 with LFG); served a fantastic book in 2008; still the best entire son of Hussonet by racetrack performances (inc. Grp 1 in US); Champion 2YO and 3YO in Chile plus Horse of the Year in Chile at 3; like everyone we are eagerly awaiting his first foals.
- · Keep The Faith $5,500 plus GST ($6,050 with LFG); his first runners will start their careers in 2009-10 (later this year); extremely well received at the yearling sales in a tough market selling to $130,000 and averaging 4 times his debut service fee; USA Turf Record Holder for 6f.
- · Soldier's Tale $9,950 plus GST ($10,945 with LFG); may just have served the best book of mares any Victorian stallion has enjoyed in his first season; this horse has let down magnificently after a late arrival last year; was 2nd highest rated entire on World Sprint rankings in 2007 his last year of competition.
- · Ist Season Sire - Kaphero will be $7,500 plus GST ($8,250 with LFG); bookings coming along very nicely; he will be limited to a restricted book in his first year; great pedigree - immediate family of Courtza, O'Reilly); wonderful type and consistently showed explosive speed.
A special periodic payment system will also be available and bulk discounts for 2 or more mares will still apply as per 2008 with the discount being triggered when the mares are served.
NOTE: That while the Early Bird Fees finish on May 31st 2009, that is not your deadline. Your repeat booking is open all season subject to availability. So if you know what you want to do, don't procrastinate.
