Innovative equine multi-media marketing and promotion company Sirecam, is delighted to announce that they have joined forces with the Sangster family to operate Sirecam Europe. Commencing operations five years ago, Sirecam revolutionised the Australian and New Zealand thoroughbred industry with the introduction of online video footage to market and promote yearlings and stallions. The concept has been accepted as an essential part of the yearling sales process, whereby vendors can promote their yearlings to a global audience prior to sale. Similarly with stallions, where vendors can market their stallions to broodmare owners on an international scale. Last year in Europe online yearling footage was marketed for the first time and was embraced by the industry. “We could not be happier to be working with the Sangster family,” says Sirecam Group Chairman Martin Ralston. “The Sangster family have always been innovators in the racing and breeding industry so to be working with them in Europe is very exciting and we look forward to a fruitful association.” Adam Sangster, just recently returned from a European Summer trip, is equally enthusiastic. “As vendors and buyers we know how successful the concept of video filming of horses is in the sales process. There was a definite gap in the market for this in Europe and we are delighted to be working with Sirecam to take this further.” “In what are undoubtedly tougher times for yearling vendors, every opportunity to sell your horse needs to be explored and there is no doubt that video footage plays an important part. The yearling sale season is about to commence in Europe with the Deauville Arqana sale at the end of August. Sirecam Europe will be represented by Alice Lukey-Smith, who has already met with a positive response from vendors. “We know from the vendors that used video footage as part of their marketing last year, just how successful it proved for them, so it’s exciting to be able to really roll the service out.”
