Swettenham Stud stallion parades will be held on 25th of July, 1st of August and 22nd of August.
All mare owners are welcome. Parades start at 11am.

A half brother to new Swettenham stallion Kaphero, sold for $1.2 million at today's Conrad Jupiters Magic Millions Yearling Sale. The colt, by leading sire Redoute's Choice is out of Kapchat, one of the Group 1 winning broodmare band sold by Swettenham in 2008 for $225,000. He will be trained by David Hayes for prominent owners Peter Devitt and Les Gordon, who enjoyed recent Group 1 success in Perth with Niconero in the Kingston Town Stakes. Hayes also trains Hidden Energy, a sister to Kaphero and the sale colt by Dehere, who races at Caulfield tomorrow. Commenting on the sale, Swettenham principal Adam Sangster said: "It's great to see another outstanding yearling from Kapchat." "Kaphero was sold at the Gold Coast and this colt looks very much like him." "We think that Kaphero is a great stallion prospect and its great to see the family kick on." |
