Swettenham Stud's exciting Storm Cat sire Hold That Tiger provided a stakes race quinella in the listed Lost in the Fog Stakes (1000m) at San Francisco's Golden Gate track on Saturday. Smiling Tiger was sent out the odds on favourite after a dashing six length winner on debut at the track on May 1 and he justified favouritism with a stunning eight length success. The colt, trained by Jeff Bonde, was a US$40,000 yearling and is from a mare by Cahill Road. He stopped the clock in a sizzling 57.6 seconds in the feature US$75,000 juvenile contest. Runner-up Sweet Tigger, a gelding by Hold That Tiger, ran boldly at his next run following an impressive Hollywood Park success to earn black type. The latest run of success for Hold That Tiger took his stakes winning count to five - another 13 are stakes placed - five of them in the past month. With over 130 winners and his oldest only half way through their four-year-old year, Hold That Tiger looks to be cementing a very imposing record. Hold That Tiger Summary
