The son of Dash For Cash was ridden by Brad Rawiller and was never off the bridle in his 990 metre heat, the gelding handling the Cranbourne training track with ease.
Rawiller steered Bank Robber to a five-length win over the Greg Eurell-trained Go My Girl and the city-performed pair Barwon Express and Tale Of Love.
"That was a pleasing trial," Waterhouse said. "He was never out of first gear and I liked the way he quickened when Brad gave him a little squeeze.
"He'll run over 1200 metres first-up at Moonee Valley in the Moir Stakes and he'll be very competitive." Editor’s Note: With 167 Dash For Cash yearlings up for potential sale next year and those horses being 3YO’s when one bred this season is up for sale in 2012. Bank Robber may provide a timely reminder to breeders who are be well advised to look at Dash For Cash this season. His special fee reduction of $13,200 incl GST still remains available to the right mares. |
