IS WINNING BRED INTO YOU?
The present resident stallions at Swettenham have produced since August 1st 2009 the start of the Southern Hemisphere racing season to May 28th the winners of over 425 races.
When you consider that the resident stallions are following on the great winner producing stallions Rory’s Jester, Jeune and Perugino it is obvious that Swettenham Stud stallions produce more winners than normal.

VRC PROMOTES BREEDING IN VICTORIA
It was very pleasing to welcome 110 VRC members and guests to Swettenham Stud on Sunday 30th of May to show off the stallions, some quality foals and the gardens of Swettenham Stud.
It is extremely important that people with a strong interest in racing are exposed to the breeding industry so that a natural consequence of ownership is not denied them if they retire a filly from the track. Exposure and education can be the start of something very exciting as many breeders can attest.

DR JOHN HURLEY
John is visiting many studs and farms with Host and or Soldier’s Tale foals and gathering information on the foals, their type, size and presence. He is shooting some film of these which we hope to edit into a workable resource. Assisting him when he rings, arranging an appointment, would be very much appreciated.
