HORSES TO FOLLOW
WINNERS FROM THE HORSES TO FOLLOW IN THE NEWSLETTERS CONTINUE ROLLING THROUGH:
» Hide ‘N’ Dash won again 4th win this preparation and now off for a well earned break. Bob Thomson
has a lot of time for the mare and thinks she can mature into something quite special. The toughness
of her sire Dash For Cash is certainly a trait she has inherited.
» While Boom ‘n’ Zoom by Dash For Cash was beaten a nose in the Roy Higgins Quality over 2600m a
$100k event at Flemington before taking out a mid-week 2400m race at Betfair Park Sandown.
All set for the Adelaide St Leger I suspect.
ADD TO THE STABLE TO FOLLOW:
» Whipsaw by Hold That Tiger. This horse is very good and may be the real surprise packet of the
Perth Carnival later this year or even measure up in Melbourne Spring Handicaps. Horses do not do
what he did and finish off their races in the manner he did if they are not quality individuals. From a
Pinjarra Maiden over 1600m to next start in the $132,000 Listed Pinjarra Gold Cup over 2200m
11 days later is a massive step and he bolted in. Still green, but very good.
» Balzoni by Bianconi looked a bit one dimensional on pace, strong and good winning two of his first
four starts. However, his win on Saturday 20th March was outstanding and running from the tail like
he did suggests that he has the necessary ability to settle and sprint. Now a Listed race looks right up
his alley. Would struggle to get a run in the Goodwood, but if he did will take some running down near
the minimum as Saturday’s sectionals were outstanding.
» Pacino by Bianconi is about to strike form so follow him as he probably aims to win the same big
winter races as he did last year.
» Alezzie by Court of Jewels is an honest filly who hit a flat spot last start at Sandown and ran on well
for second after a great first up win. Competitive puts herself in the firing line and will win plenty
this time in.
